Fastclass with Kathryn Sullivan

FastClasses go exercise to exercise without stopping, perfect for when you already know the steps. Whether you need a warm-up or want to challenge your memory and endurance, these short edits of our most popular classes allow you a full class in less time.

Kathryn Sullivan’s class is best suited for training Advanced Beginner students or experienced Adult dancers. Sullivan’s teaching principles include use of the plumbline for balance, core support while moving, and precise musicality. The barre progresses slowly, thoughtfully planned to build the foundational skills of ballet technique with clear joint articulation emphasized in each exercise. From the barre and into the center, each exercise is explained and demonstrated with clarity so that it’s easy for you to learn the steps and make them your own. And of course, no class would be complete without an uplifting “across the floor” that lets you embrace the excitement of moving in space. 

This adult ballet class is approximately 46 minutes long and great for beginner and intermediate ballet dancers.
